Let me try this snow

Reagan wasn't sure what to think

Weeeeee!
Hiking to the sledding hill

Today was actually warm enough to take the kids out to enjoy the snow. Since Quinn actually had school today we went out after she got home, we were out for almost 2 hours and the girls had such a great time. Reagan has never really played in snow so she was content to just throw it around and laugh at the dogs rolling around in it. Quinn was all about the sledding! She went down the hill over and over, then her and Lance built a little ramp which she loved!
We have been working with Reagan on potty training, if she is wearing a diaper she rips it off the second it is wet at all...even at nap! So we decided it's time. We have been sitting her on the potty every 30 - 45 minutes today and giving her M&M's to sit there, since she never gets candy she thinks that is great. She has gone 4 times and had 2 accidents but she was wearing a diaper the whole time we were outside. We are really proud of her and think it is too cute when she tells her pee pee to "c'mon"!
Reagan is starting to speak much more as well, even in short sentences. On Tuesday we came out of Wal-Mart and she said, "Look Mama, it's snowing outside." After all the speech problems we had with Quinn it is such a relief that Reagan is doing so well.
Quinn is doing great, just disappointed that we have had so many snow days (7 since 1/5!). She likes her new teacher and continues to do well with her letters and sounds. She loves playing the leapster she received for Christmas and can also get on her favorite website, starfall.com, by herself to play games.

So I finally got our Christmas pictures up. We had a great Christmas in MD this year,
Quinn and Reagan loved seeing their Grandparents, cousins and Aunts! Quinn was so
excited to get the puppy maker and playdoh she asked Santa for. She also got a Leapster
which she loves! Reagan recieved mostly all "boy" toys: a racecar, dump trucks, Bob the Builder
tool set and CARS stuff, she loves it all.
We are settled at my mom's house now, Quinn is ready to start her new school tomorrow.
We attended our new church today, everyone was so nice. Quinn started CCD today and already
made a couple of new friends.

We are finishing up some packing and getting ready to head to MD tommorow to celebrate Christmas. The girls are thilled, Quinn has been counting down the days.
Reagan went for her 2 1/2 year check up last week, she is 26 pounds and 35 inches (25th and 50th percentiles) and is in perfect health. She doesn't have all of her teeth yet but should be getting the last couple soon. She continues to repeat about everything someone says, this week her new word was gorgeous...everything was gorgeous!
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Quinn's Christmas concert

Here is a video from Quinn's concert, I took one of the kids singing but you couldn't hear it. Reagan loved the entire concert and found Quinn ( or a blonde haired girl) in every grade level.

Ho, ho ho!
Merry Christmas

We took the girls to see Santa last night at the mall. Reagan was excited and said she would sit on his "wap" but when we there she wouldn't go within 10 feet of him! She dug her feet into the ground and said. "I no go". Quinn happily sat on his lap (for the first time ever!) took pictures and told him the 3 things she wants. She did ask why she had to tell him since she already wrote him a letter.
One the way home Quinn suddenly became sick, she was sick most of the night so she had to miss school today. We are hoping it doesn't spread to us or Reagan!

Quinn's letter to Santa, she asked for Playdoh, a dollhouse and a puppy maker. We sounded out the words and she did really well for the most part.
